Online Resources for Students: A Companion for the Women & Politics Institute Curriculum

The following subject headings are useful sites for Women, Policy, and Political Leadership (WPPL) Certificate students, and include links to women and politics centers around the nation as well as professional political associations.  In addition, we provide students with online references from the syllabi of our regularly taught courses.  This research tool is a work in progress and is constantly changing to meet student and faculty needs.  It is not an endorsement of any specific organization, information source, or perspective.  Rather, it is intended to be a starting point for students’ research interests and projects. We encourage all of our students to also utilize campus research assistance from the library (http://www.library.american.edu/ ) as well as the University Writing Center (http://www.american.edu/cas/lit/writing_center/ ).
