The Women & Politics Institute is dedicated to training the next generation of female political leaders and highlighting the importance of women's leadership. The Women & Politics Institute enhances women's leadership by fostering interaction between students and young women leaders, providing leadership trainings, and recognizing students for excellence in leadership. The Institute runs leadership programs for American University students, young women working or attending universities in Washington, D.C., and women leaders from across the globe.
